Am I eligible for VR&E?
You may be eligible for VR&E if you meet the following:
1. You have a disability rating of at least 10% if found to have a serious employment handicap
OR
2. You have a disability rating of at least 20% if found to have an employment handicap.
AND
3. You have a discharge that is not “dishonorable”
Note: When the VA recieves your VR&E application, the VA will schedule your initial evaluation with a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC). The VRC will determine if you’re entitled to receive VR&E benefits and services.
